Dr Susi Abidin

Dr. Susi MKM, born on November 10, 1968, in Bukittinggi, is a distinguished academic and researcher in the field of dentistry and public health. She currently serves as a faculty member at Universitas Andalas, located at Perintis Kemerdekaan Street No. 77, Jati Padang, Indonesia. Dr. Susi earned her Bachelor’s degree from the Dentistry Faculty at Universitas Padjadjaran and later pursued a Master’s degree in Public Health from Universitas Indonesia. Currently, she is a doctoral student in the Doctor of Public Health program at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Andalas. Dr. Susi has undertaken significant research, including studies funded by the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Research on “Early Childhood Caries and Breastfeeding” from 2017 to 2019, as well as a recent investigation into “Factors influencing the utilization of dental health services at Andalas University Hospital” in 2023, supported by Universitas Andalas. Her work underscores her commitment to advancing dental health practices and policies in Indonesia.
